Games-related

Through the gradual evolution of this site I have always dedicated a little space to my current favourite games, particularly if they are 'mod'-able games, i.e. extensible by the user either creating new objects for them, be they character models, maps, or other objects.

There are only 3 covered now, as I have gradually moved on from most of the games that I used to play.

Full Thrust

A board game simulating ship-ship fleet actions in deep space. The system is simple, easy to learn, yet simulates some quite complex ship systems, and remains generic enough to be used within any science-fiction genre.

Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption

Vampire caught my eye for 2 reasons; the atmosphere in the single-player game is amazing in it's depth, and the system is based upon the White Wolf role-playing game with an innovative Story Teller method for multi-player games on-line, making it very versatile, and way beyond most multi-player role-playing games on the PC.

VGA Planets

VGA Planets is a multiplayer play by email game quite simple in it's gameplay, but the complexity comes in battling other players, and as VGA Planets has been around a while there are a lot of more experienced players out there :)
